March 14 is International Mathematics Day.
A worldwide event is held in honour of the International Day of Mathematics (IDM). Every year on March 14, activities are held at schools, museums, libraries, and other locations that are open to the public as well as students from all nations. At its 205th meeting, the Executive Council of UNESCO declared March 14 to be the International Day of Mathematics. In November 2019, it was approved by the UNESCO General Conference's 40th session. On March 14, 2020, the IDM held its official opening ceremony. 2020's theme was "Mathematics is Everywhere." There are various departments in maths.
